Allianz – Tiriac Arena is the only ice rink known at present in Bucharest-Ilfov area, built
according to the latest International Olympic Norms and to the International Hockey
Federation guidance. The aim of this place is to encourage the practice of sports among
children and youth, as well as supporting the sportive teams to reach their highest levels of
performance.
The building of Allianz – Tiriac Arena started in July 2016 and has been completed in
October 2016. Built on a 4.863sm surface, the arena has a capacity of up to 450 spectators
and is fully functional 11 months/year.
The site makes available to visitors four lockers dedicated to hockey teams, six individual
lockers for figure skaters and one locker for the public. Moreover, Allianz – Tiriac Arena’s
parking area has a capacity of 70 parking spaces for visitors, and some other spaces for
coaches.
